My purpose & approach to Yoga as a teacher
I am from Brittany, France, though I have spent most of my adult life abroad. I have lived in Lisbon with my family since 2019. Before moving to Lisbon, I had spent 20 years in Asia, where my passion for Yoga has become a lifestyle.
As a yoga teacher my purpose is to pass on the precious and profound teachings of yoga to others to improve their life the way it has improved mine.
I teach
- weekly yoga & meditation group classes. prenatal yoga and postnatal yoga
- regular thematic workshops and retreats
- and mostly give individual yoga therapy consultations in Lisbon and online.
To make a change in your life with Yoga, a tailor-made approach is the best and most of my students like to combine one-to-one classes & group classes.
I am a trained Yoga Therapist in the tradition of Professor Krishnamacharya and his son, Mr TKV Desikachar, whose teachings are perpetuated at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. I founded my school of Yoga in Singapore in 2014 (Yoga Therapy – Yoga Ways) and then in Lisbon in 2019. I love helping my students to take ownership of their health & deal with physical or emotional issues with less medical support. Classes are always in small groups providing highly personalised advice to all my students.

My Yoga background & certifications
I am a Certified Yoga teacher & Yoga Therapist in the tradition of Krishnamacharya.
I took my first 2-year Teacher Training (RYS 550 hours Yoga Alliance) with EKA Yoga Institute in Singapore, followed by a 3-Year Yoga Therapy Training Programme (Yoga & Santé) with Anne Poirier & Michael Steinbrecher (IFY Institut Français du Yoga), a fascinating very practical course where I was able to study deeper the applications of Yoga tools in supporting physical and mental health.
As much as I can, I keep developing myself through Yoga Studies and have taken several courses in India with Eka Yoga institute & Krisnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (Chennai, India).
